Michael is currently the Director of the Melton Centre for Jewish Education in the Seymour Fox School of Education at The Hebrew University. Over the years, he has directed a variety of programs and projects at the Melton Centre, in the Fox School and the Faculty of Humanities. These have included the Senior Educators Program, serving as educational director of the Revivim Program and heading the School of Education’s Teacher Education Department. His research and teaching interests include the teaching of Rabbinic Literature and the Philosophy of Jewish Education with a particular interest in the implications for Jewish education of the thought of Emmanuel Levinas.
