Rabbi Dr. Morey Schwartz is the International Director. Morey advances the work of the Florence Melton School as he seeks out and assesses new opportunities to enhance Melton’s global impact through communal, national and international partnerships and other strategic relationships. From the Melton Institute at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Morey supervises the content and the delivery of the Melton School curriculum. He oversees the ongoing development of all of Melton’s extensive curriculum. His work also focuses on ensuring the highest standards of adult education excellence through the development and implementation of in-service training and enrichment for Melton faculty worldwide. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University in New York, with a Master’s Degree from the Bernard Revel Graduate School and rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. His doctorate is from the William Davidson Graduate School of Education. His doctoral dissertation focused on the influence of communally sponsored Jewish adult education upon the social capital of a Jewish community. Morey moved to Israel in 2000 and lives in Hashmonaim. He is a former faculty member of the Greater Kansas City Florence Melton School.
