Maccabees & Miracles: Then and Now
Do you ever wonder where the Hanukah story took place, or why the miracle of lights eclipsed the miracle of the Maccabean victory? Do you eat latkes and donuts and wonder if the entire Jewish world celebrates Hanukah this way? If you answered yes to any of the above, join us on this epic journey to the ancient sites where Judah Maccabee won his largest battles taking us throughout the Old City of Jerusalem including the Western Wall Tunnels, the City of David, and the Hasmonaean Aqueduct, to name a few. As we explore the historical record, we will discuss the Maccabees from all perspectives including some of the darker more troubling aspects, rarely mentioned.

Among the discoveries are the Fosse Temple, solar shrine, and numerous inscribed artifacts. Many of the events in the Book of Joshua took place in this area.
