Emily Cohen, Director of Education & Community Engagement
Emily has spent the past 10+ years working in Jewish education in a variety of capacities, from preschool to older adult engagement and everything in between. In her role at Temple Emanuel, she oversees religious school, youth group, family engagement, and part of the rich variety of adult programming offered at TE. Emily came to TE after three years in Atlanta where she was the Director of Youth Learning & Engagement at Temple Sinai. Emily earned an MA in Religious Education from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion through their Executive Masters in Jewish Education program. She also holds a BS in Public Affairs-Nonprofit Management and an area certificate in Jewish Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington.
