Kira Sirote was born in the former Soviet Union, educated in the United States, and raised her family in Israel. She is the mother of seven (grandmother of four!) and a software developer, but her real passion is the Tanach. Ever since her studies at Michlalah with R' Copperman and then at Harvard with Prof.  R'  Isidore Twersky, she has made it a priority to learn and then teach Torah. Her book, Haftorah Unrolled, (available at Amazon and Steimatzky), is based on a weekly class that she taught in her parents' home in Ra'anana, Israel, and is dedicated to their memory.
