Elisa Blank is the Director of Community Partnerships where she will provide support services to our directors and coordinators in our global network of partners and maintain communication with other related constituents. Prior to joining Melton, Elisa served as UJA-Federation of New York’s Long Island Regional Manager for SYNERGY where her primary objectives were to design innovative and creative programs and strategic visioning for synagogue communities and Jewish communal organizations throughout Long Island. An advocate for those with disabilities, Elisa also managed the Synagogue Inclusion Project for UJA-Federation of New York. As an experienced Jewish educator, Elisa has created, taught and directed programs for all ages from preschool through adult, including both formal and informal education programs for youth and teens. Elisa began her career as a public-school teacher. Elisa holds Master’s degrees in Education and History. She also completed The Leadership Institute: Shaping Congregational Leaders and Learners, a joint program through Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and The Jewish Theological Seminary.
