Rachel Chasky is the Director of Development and Stewardship and manages all aspects of Melton’s fundraising. Having traversed both the Jewish academic and philanthropic sectors, Rachel has a keen interest in the cross-section of the two.
Prior to Melton, Rachel was the Director of Advancement at the Hebrew Free Loan Society of New York, where she built the organization’s development and communications efforts. She joined HFLS after four years on UJA’s Wall Street Division team as the Business Development Officer. Prior to UJA, Rachel was a philanthropic consultant at Changing Our World, a philanthropic and fundraising consulting firm.
Rachel began her career on Wall Street as a risk analyst at Goldman Sachs. She was later invited to join Citi Private Bank.
Rachel holds an MPA in Nonprofit Finance and an MA in Judaic Studies from New York University and a BA in Finance and Jewish History from Yeshiva University.
