Uzi Rebhun (PhD) Professor and Head, Division of Jewish Demography and Statistics, the A. Harman Institute of Contemporary Jewry, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds the ShlomoArgov Chair in Israel-Diaspora Relations. His areas of interest are Jewish migration, Jewish identification, the Jewish family, Israel-Diaspora relations, and antisemitism. Rebhun’s most recent books include “American Israelis: Migration, Transnationalism, and Diasporic Identity” (with Lilach Lev Ari, Brill, 2010); “The Wandering Jew in America” (Academic Studies Press, 2011); “Jews and the American Religious Landscape” (Columbia University Press, 2016); and “A Double Burden: Israeli Jews in Contemporary Germany” (with D. Kranz and H. Sunker, SUNY Press, forthcoming 2021).
